Carter Burwell - Raising Arizona

Absolutely genius score for a near perfect film. Idk. Carter had, admittedly, no business attempting a country western movie, even in the idiosyncratic way the Coen bros do them. It’s just so perfectly right and so off. The themes are clear as day, the music is decorative and strange, it speaks its own language, and with the film it’s like aliens inexplicably conversing. 10/10
