Popol Vuh Werner Herzog Soundtracks

Re-watched Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant last night and was missing that epic, inexplicable krauty Popol Vuh sound. No shade to Mark Isham (who scored BL and is amazing), but there’s nothing quite like that weird, expansive guitar work over Werner’s cinematic poetry.
